About Me

 I am a writer of speculative  fiction and all-around lover of story, no matter what form it might take  or media it might use. My story "An Hour in the City of Lightning" will  appear in the November 2022 edition of Metaphorosis Magazine. My first  professional sale was the story "Ghosts" to the Hadley Rille Books  anthology Footprints. And my debut novel Chaos Heir: Beholden is  available on Amazon. I'm currently working on several writing projects  ranging from novels, short stories and graphic novels. I have taught  adult ESL, coordinate a vet clinic online store and serve on the Friends  board for our local library. I've recently taken up photography and am  putting together a pretty awesome collection of bird photos! And I've  been brushing up on my painting skills with acrylics and watercolor. I'm  also pretty active--I run, do yoga, play tennis, mountain bike, kayak,  hike, pretty much anything active and outdoors, but only for fun and  recreational competitions. I love to learn, and almost any topic aside  from politics and religion fascinates me. I live in Texas with my  husband, two wonderful adult kids, three finches, two parakeets, two cats,  and a snake.
